The MAAPFoundation is invited by Uganda local village leaders who witness poor struggling mothers and babies without access to healthcare and mobilize to make changes within their power. Here a US family has stepped forward joining hand in hand to create a sustainable farm. The farm profits create a charity fund the local clinic distributes to those qualified. The US MAAPFoundation respects the ability of local leaders to capitalize and improvise given the resources. The community grows using their own culture’s ability to microfinance. They invest, nurture resources, take profits and reinvest. MAAPFoundation helps be a catalyst believing in local empowerment. We play a partnering role Africans call: “Ubuntu “ we are because,- we are one!”
