This is how a MAAP Foundation project begins.
The Simple Process
- Often, $2500 is invested to build a poultry barn or livestock facility.
- When approved, a second $2500 investment is made in livestock feeding and care.
- Ultimately, eggs, chicks, or piglets go to market in a few months.
- Profits from the sales create a monthly charity bank account.
- Destitute mothers and children can receive free or reduced medical care. The goal is for no person to be turned away for treatment.
U.S. Donors only receive reports of success from our Uganda partners as their investment money is not directly repaid.
